| Entomology and the science of learning | My research interests lie in finding more effective and efficient mechanisms and programs for the learning process. I am particularly interested in using insects as tools to enhance the learning process in science and other areas of knowledge. |

| Entomology 110 | Spider Biology. This course is an introduction to the basic biology, identification, and ecology of this extremely successful and widespread group of arthropods. |
| Entomology 217 | Insects in Elementary Education. This laboratory class will provide sufficient skills and information about insects to encourage an elementary education teacher to comfortably and conveniently use insects in a classroom to achieve desired educational objectives. |
